Queen Anne Nods to Shirely Jackson

June 5th and 6th: Art on the Town presented by The Wilsonville Arts & Culture Council, Town Center Park, 29600 SW Park Place, Wilsonville, Oregon.  This is the park where I photographed and sketched for my Splash series of children playing in water.  On a hot day the water feature itself is worth the trip.    I will display paintings including parts of the Splash series and some sculpture.   Admission is free.

July 17th and 18th:  Gig Harbor Summer Art Festival, Peninsula Art League, Gig Harbor, Washington.  Gig Harbor is a beautiful arty little town just south of Seattle. This is an outdoor art fair where I will show watercolors and some of my larger sculpture.  Free admission.

July 23 – 25th: 64th Annual Bellevue Arts Museum Art Fair, Bellevue Square and Bellevue Arts Museum in Bellevue, Washington.  This is the Seattle art fair.  Two other fairs are held in Seattle that weekend.  But this is the big one for art with a capital “A.”   I will show watercolors and limited edition prints.  Free admission.

August 27th-September 1st.: Artisan Village, Oregon State Fair, Salem, Oregon.  The Artisan Village is a small art fair within the state fair.  Entry to the village is free with a fair ticket.  All artists in the village will be demonstrating  during the fair.  I will display and demonstrate both sculpture and painting.

November 12-14: Fall 2010 Best of the Northwest, Seattle Center, Exhibition Hall, Seattle.  This is The Best of the Northwest’s premire show.  I will display paintings, sculpture and kaleidoscopes.  $7.00 admission fee.

The Pumice Seekers

June 2nd- 29th: Art in the Valley: Celebrating 20 Years,  at the Guistina Gallery, The LaSells Stewart Center, OSU Campus, Corvallis, Oregon.  Along with the other members of Art in the Valley, I will be presenting a special show in June.   The Guistina Gallery is considerably larger than our gallery and will give us space to exhibit more and larger work than we usually show our at our own gallery.  Six to seven of my larger works will be on display.  Reception June 9th from 6 to 8 p.m. Art in the Valley will remain open through out the month.

Twixt Wind and Water

June 18th-20th: 54th Annual Edmonds Arts Festival,  Juried Gallery, Frances Anderson Cultural Center, 700 Main Street, Edmonds, WashingtonTwixt Wind and Water has been accepted into the juried gallery.  The juried gallery is in connection with the  Edmonds Art Festival.   No admissions charge.  I will not be attending the festival.  Gallery preview June 16th at 6pm.  On-line tickets for the preview party  available at www.eaffoundation.org.  Tickets include dinner and wine for $75.00.
